Following the reopening of movie theaters after 3-month coronavirus closure, ‘Exodus’ has been scheduled to hit big screens from early July, taking a new chance in gross revenue.
The flick has recently set a new record as the first movie to have online screening through VoD streaming services.
Hatamikia’s 20th feature film was also appeared in Iran’s first drive-in cinema at Tehran’s Milad Tower, being warmly received by the audience.
The film was supposed to hit silver screens during Nowruz; however, the public screening was cancelled over coronavirus outbreak.
Fajr award-winning movie was well-received by the audiences at the 38th edition of the Fajr Film Festival.
It also succeeded to bag two Crystal Simorghs from the event: one for best makeup and one for best visual effects.
‘Exodus’ depicts the story of a group of farmers voicing their concerns to government officials.
The film features Faramarz Qaribian, Pantea Panahiha, Jahangir Almasi, Giti Ghasemi, Mehdi Faqih, Sam Qaribian, and Atash Taqipour.
